Today we did another nearly seventeen thousand steps, walking around South Bank and the West End. And now we're on the plane waiting to head back to Sydney!

Today we did over seventeen thousand steps and I am spent.

We took the ferry up to New Farm and wandered around the markets and did some walking along the river, many excellent dogs were spotted on the way. Then we came back via ferry and got off at the Botanical Gardens and walked around there, then up to Roma St Parklands, before heading back to our hotel to give our feets a rest. Then finally this evening we had a mini-fedimeet and it was most excellent to see @brad@chinwag.org, @phocks@bne.social, and @ash@bne.social in person!

A photo looking across the Brisbane River, the water is kind of brown but there are modern buildings on the other side. The sky is completely blue.

Absolutely the worst night's sleep last night, the aircon couldn't be set either up high enough for me to be warm enough with just the two sheets, nor could it be set cold enough to be cool enough to warrant the doona. And there were no other bedding options. I'm awake solely by the power of caffeine today. :ded:

We're currently waiting at North Quay to catch the ferry up to New Farm to wander around and take photos.
