Beanie had a CT scan today and unfortunately it's not looking great, we're getting towards the "Make sure he's comfortable" end of things sadly. 😞 (Which he does seem to be, this entire time you'd never know anything was wrong.)
Most of the tumours were about the same size, ideally they'd be shrinking, and one of them was larger. There was a different type of chemo that the vet said we _could_ try but it'd have harsher side-effects and we really don't want to put Beanie through that. They also found a bit of a heart murmur that we're going to get checked out when he has his next dose of chemo in two weeks, the vet wasn't sure if it was just a regular thing that dogs get in older age or if it was something else. Then after that it's going to be a case of giving it a pause and seeing how it goes because the vet couldn't tell if it was the chemo keeping things (mostly) at bay at this point or if it's just that it's a really slow-moving type of cancer. We already swapped chemo types because the other one he was on originally had stopped being effective, and we're mostly out of options at this point.
